the sardonic stylings of a post-modern something

I myself have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is: I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat, or a prostitute. -Rebecca West {block:Permalink}

Today’s lesson:

Timing is everything.

On my way back from class, I made the impulse decision to stop by my work. This decision was impulse because

a. I had already worked a 6 hour shift today

and

b. I had people to call before 5:00 (it was currently 4:13)

Why I wound up back in the office, I don’t know. It could possibly be the fact that I had not seen my brother in A WEEK! Sheesh, that’s a long time.

The moral of the story is, go into work, even when you don’t have to, because there is a possibility that there could be surprises lurking. My surprise today were scones. I had two and now dinner is taken care of.
